Re: BrickArms Polearms - Will Needs *YOUR* Feedback!

I really like the Cimmerian Axe as a socketed weapon! That makes it much more versatile. Josh I second that... I would really prefer the flexibility/versatility of putting it on different poles for different uses, etc. I have been lurking here on this thread, but I suppose I should speak for Will's...

Re: Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive

I stand corrected. However, I still think the knight should have an ovoid shield. No prob. I learned what the small shield was called. :D I, too, thank you for the correction. In all honesty, I should have known as I knew both terms and have studied both, but I just wasn't thinking straight. :P Kit...

Re: Lego 10223 Kingdoms Joust Exclusive

My only real dissappointments with this set are: 1. The lack of a second Black Falcon soldier 2. The Black Falcon Knight is carrying a kite shield and not an ovoid one. Otherwise, I'm very excited to see this set. My Black Falcon's have needed a proper leader for a long time. Now, I'd like a proper...

Re: Best (Realistic) Archer Torso/Minifig Design (A Discussi

Thanks for all the great feedback. This has been really helping to fuel my creativity and design my armies. :) It looks like I am going to do a mix of uniformed and mobbish... and I got over 20 of the torso that Username shared and plan to make a group of them out of that... I will try and share pic...

Re: Online draft

A different way of doing it, as I mentioned in the first post, is leaving it to a computer program. Here's the software I'm imagining: 1: The draft lots are added to an online database, and each participant is given a user account. 2: Everyone logs in and create their personal prioritized list, sor...

Re: Vote for the new CC Mascot!

I can't seem to vote, I get this: The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again. Tried a few times now, it won't go through. That's odd. Anyone else getting this? Josh I got this as well, but my vote would go for blueandwhite's - I like the color matching and it is simple to recreate. Thanks

Re: Best (Realistic) Archer Torso/Minifig Design (A Discussi

Well, having good archers is nice, but real archers in those times wore whatever they had. However, I like the mail on the crown knight archers. Yeah, I agree with that, but I sort of wanted a core contingent that were easily recognized from the "rabble" - or maybe I am just taking the co...

Best (Realistic) Archer Torso/Minifig Design (A Discussion)

I have been searching the forums for ideas for good archers and have not found a lot. I like what Solus did here with the Village of the crown as far as the hoods go, but I am still not 100% satisfied. I figured I would get people's opinions on a few opposing possibilities and perhaps also generate ...

I really like the whole design of this moc, but the vegetation is particularly inspiring. I am just curious what you used to make those bending little trees?

Thanks so much!

Re: New Kingdoms sets at TRU!!

I just went to my local TRU and they had the Village Mill Raid, King's Carriage Ambush, & Escape from Dragon Prison, but no Blacksmiths Attack. I bought the Village Mill Raid & Escape from Dragon Prison. I will see if I can get screenshots at all, but it might be hard tonight as I will be al...

Re: PoTC castle builders dream?

Happy to report the castle broadsword fits perfectly in the baldric! :D Yes, I was also quite excited to find this out... also, another small tidbit is that when placed on the Kingdoms lion scale mail minifig , the strap falls right along the printed strap on his torso... kinda nice to me :) Thanks!

Karen's Southwestern Ranch House

I did not make this moc and I know it isn't castle, but I like a lot of the design and it has a lot of good ideas with roofing and interiors, etc... I noticed it on a blog site and couldn't find it searching the forums, so I figured I would share it here: http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5223/55668216...

New Kingdoms Sets in May?

Okay, so I was at the LEGO store near me last Saturday and got a store calendar flyer. On the back I noticed it said: "This May at the LEGO Store, you'll find new and exciting products from LEGO City, LEGO Kingdoms, LEGO Creator and more!..." It this just a typo/generic filler content, or ...
