This is a great looking MOC minifigure. I love the use of the Technic Cam and Grappling Hook to make the shild. Quite creative use of Lego elements. The double blade is also a nice touch.
Well done.

I am not a real fan of the peach, but this figure looks nice.

Re: The Dark Wizards Hut
I really like this little "hut". Nice shape and detail.
Yep, on the Flicker page the link takes you to, there is a photo of the three "adventurers" and she is clearly holding two of the pole axes.lord_of_orks wrote: I think she's holding two axes.

Re: Isolere, the Hiromenn
Maybe they are, but the wavyness of them has always made them look like flags to me. I agree that Brick TW's Flame Bow does not look like a traditional bow. But that is why I only bought the clear red one to use as a magical bow. Now though, Morgan19 has shown me I need to think more creativly. Tho...

Re: PoTC castle builders dream?
Went to the Lego store today with my son. Picked up a few of the PotC sets amoung our spoils. :) I love the baldric. Would buy some if they were not so costly from Bricklinks. Will have to be happy with what I got from the sets for now. The Globe from the Capt. set was real nice. And even though the...

I thought so, and a great and creative use for the bow IMO.Morgan19 wrote:^ They're BrickTW, yep! (That's mentioned on the Flickr page.)

Re: Doctor Who line - not TLC
I find something like this a mixed blessing. On the one hand it is good to see someone realized there was a need. On the other hand it is sad they were not done by Lego.
Oh and I agree, I too want one of the Tardis.

Re: Terror Of The Witchfinder General!
I think you did a good job in capturing both the moment and the times in this MOC. I also thought you did a good job in not allowing it to get to cartoonish for such a dark subject. You kept it clean and to the point. I also admire the details you included. This is a great MOC.

That is a great looking chess set. The storage drawers are even custom to the Lego elements. This would be something I would be proud to place on my table.

Re: Holy Avenger
While I like the overall idea, I find the mini to be quite plain. Maybe a touch of color on the armor (small red dot on the center element maybe?) or maybe use a different color hip element for the legs. Not sure what, but I would give it something.

Nice sword custom. I think the bat worked well for this. The overall mini is good looking as well. Nice job.

Re: brick built beast...young dragon...
I like how this came out. I think the look of a young dragon fits it's size and the over sized wings. I think of my puppy and his over sized feet. The dragon will grow into the wings.
Great job.

Interesting that the new sets show up on the TRU website but not on the Lego web site.
Wonder why that is.

Ok, I took this design made a few minor changes, and made one for my Orc army. :orc: I hope Siercon and Coral are not too insulted by it being used by the Orcs. http://home.earthlink.net/~danielc/Ogmel-Ride-01.JPG http://home.earthlink.net/~danielc/Ogmel-Ride-02.JPG http://home.earthlink.n...
