Re: Yellow background for classic sets

Thank you so much for your comments, I'm very glad to share this. Still, I'm figuring out if the orange/pink lines to simulate the clouds, I expect that those are painted or digitally added, but for that time I suppose they made a dioram, rather than using the modern techniques. I spent really not m...

Yellow background for classic sets

Hello! It's been a long time. Once I got some of my childhood desired set, the next move is to take some photoshoots to them. Was just some weeks ago that I've decided to replicate the yellowish background found in the classic legoland sets (like the 6080). So, I'm using Kraft paper for the ground a...

Re: The End of Nexo Knights

Hello, is a long time! For some reason I'm happy that TLC focused the Castle line to the younger and potential consumers, as they added many features that we AFOLs couldn't have the time to play or try it. By other side, during these Nexo times, I pushed over into getting vintage sets, minifigures a...

Re: Help! Trying to find a torso...

Looks like that applying the yellow sharpie to the torso is something that I have to test in a common torso first. I saw some pictures and looks good to me! The bride/greek-woman slope is another piece that I didn't find in BL, thought probably is a sticky print over a white slope 65 2x2x2, which I'...

Help! Trying to find a torso...

Hello, everybody: Recently I've decided to begin my ultimate castle building that I'll display at home. This also will require as much minifigures as I can, so I started to check for some minifigures on internet, one of them is this bride/greek-style-dress minifig. [url]https://s-media-cache-ak0.pin...

Re: 71040 Disney Castle

It is pretty awesome and expensive at the same, perhaps the detailed rooms worth it.

I'm curious about the shield coat of arms, which even if these become generic will be welcome.

Have good luck and fun, the people that will get this set.

Re: Help with Bricklink!

Don't worry RedBrick :) and after 21 years I finally got the 6086 Black Knight's Castle (innacurate because a helmet but the pieces are in a very nice condition), also some others like the Wolfie Tower, some Black Knights and 6 Ice planet minifigured I was afraid in a first moment but I'm glad that ...

Re: Help with Bricklink!

Fortunately, the sellers offered me the option to pay with paypal that, as I said, was a fast and easy method to do it. In a first instance, I was worried about the payment process. In some way, Kev is right about the shipping because I live in a town, so I'm expecting to have a delay in the items d...

Re: Help with Bricklink!

Fine... I already did 4 orders, and I liked how easy was to pay using paypal. :) I'm still on the process and also having some problems with a bank transfer, probably my bank will add USD$20 to make the process.

Help with Bricklink!

Hi! I'm interested on buying bricks, sets and minifigures on bricklink, however I'm totally new to the process itself, but the best way that you can help me is telling me how much reliable is shopping there as a whole experience. I'm fan of the castle line in the golden age, so I'm willing to get so...

Re: Nexo Knights in 2016 - Official pics!

I'm liking in someway the new castle-tech idea with Nexo Knights, the minifigures armors reminds me of that one of the Space Marine from Lego Minifigures Series 7, and is glad to see some of the old faction coat of arms in there. The first impression that I got from this new theme was :o , mainly ab...

Re: More Minifigures in Large LEGO Castle Sets

I always have been agree with the large amount of minifigs in a box, also horses, bardings, weapons and so, because it makes the set more attractive. Any King's Castle set would look vivid with a ton of minifigs on it, so I hope this become like a goal in the design team. Also, please, don't forget ...

Please bring back the Castle/Kingdom non-license line

Greetings,

In the name of all the Lego brand customers (KFOL, TFOL and AFOL), I want to ask for a humble petition: please, bring back the Castle/Kingdoms line, which is one of the favorites everywhere in the worldwide.

My regards.

Re: Castle and Tolkien sets for 2013

I just built the new castle last night. I am very pleased with it. It is simple, but an effective castle. I am really liking the new wall panels, they will be much easier to work with, and I appreciate the large number of corner panels that come in this set. I also like the new 1x2x5 column with sl...
