Re: 'Retro Style' Castle MOCs.
I have to agree with Formendacil, the hinge placement looks incredibly well thought out and fitting no matter the orientation.
Would absolutely love to have this as a playset

Re: Woodcutter's Cottage
Very nice little moc! I love for such a small build it is very unique and distinct. One particular part usage I love is that small crate as a window frame. I do wonder as to where the torsos come from? Purple Wolf :) Thanks Purple Wolf! The crate was something I had to try due to limited parts in b...

I certainly wouldn't want a stagnant moat around my fortress, but channeling a river to flow around it would be cool
Building stone walls into a mountain, with river circling the front. Sounds like a nice place to me!

Woodcutter's Cottage
First minifig scale castle build since my move to Denmark! This consumed just about all my small tiles in bley and dark bley. Still pretty happy with what I was able to put together though, and it felt really good to make a medieval cottage again. Sjurd the hardy woodcutter lives alone in his small ...

Super layout with the elevated bridge in back, and staircase winding up to the right.

Storrar Family
Another entry for the February Minifig contest. Lord Karsten Storrar rules Harburg with the support of his wife Karina. Sir Roltun is not actually related, but the twins Eryl and Elise consider him a big brother – a role the good natured knight is happy to occupy! [img]http://www.brickbuilt.org/wp-c...

Re: Febraury Minifig Contest - Updated!
My entry for the army category. The Silver Squad is an accomplished group of warriors. Garen’s crossbow accuracy is incredible despite his tendency to be easily startled. Kaden’s solid spear skills have saved other squad members numerous times. Squad leader Riquier is confident and decisive, while t...

Correct, and then a 1x4 arch over top usually.Bruce N H wrote:I'm honored! BTW, in both of those MOCs you have shields flush against the wall. How did you do that? Are those 1x2 panels with the shields fitting over them?soccerkid6 wrote:And we love sneaking your sigfig into builds, Bruce
