Re: Elves
I actually really, really, love these new sets. In fact these sets have made me dig back into my legos. I was really critical of the friends sets at first, but I actually like them quite a bit now (though I prefer the more adventurous sets than things like the hair salon). There are two more sets wi...

I like it. The colors are nice, the style is nice, and it looks very usable for play.

Wow, I love the feel of this MOC. It's a real "fantasy" style castle and I love it.

Re: LEGO Friends line
I bought one set to support the line (the inventor one) and I love the colors. I am going to be picking up some sets for my neice's birthdays this year, since they don't have legos, poor things. I've noticed some stores are sticking them in the girl's section, which gets girls who aren't into legos ...

Re: Changes in Medieval/Pirates Female minifigs...
I really would like a piece that goes between the short legs and the torso for a "short" skirt. You can kind of do it with two 1x1 bricks, but then you get a very tall female minifig. I'd also like a lego skirt piece that wasn't a normal lego, with leg prongs so it stays on the torso bette...

Re: LEGO Friends line
I would LOVE to get these for my nieces - but I feel I need to replace the figures with cute girl mini-figs.
I understand they are trying to reach a market of "girls who don't like lego" - but don't forget the girls who do like lego!

Re: CCCIX custom fantasy minifig entry: drow
Does your camera take big pictures you have to resize to be smaller?
If so try this:
Take the picture from further back. It may not be able to focus when it's close to something. If you get a picture in focus, don't resize it. Instead, just crop it down.

Re: Vine Covered Arch
First time I saw that Professor Sprout figure I thought it would be perfect for the local herbalist/healer type.
I like the idea of using a shield at the top of the arch. I was thinking this used to be a shine to some old sun/moon god or goddess, and the face had just eroded away...
