Re: Elf Ears Coated with Yellow LEGOs

Looking fabulous! Though ears... like fingers and toes are not part of LEGO minifigs' official anatomy :P
And is that Zelda from Nintendo you have there?

Re: What do you think about a "chapter 0" or character intro

If it is up to me ( I have to say I am keenly aware while saying this by no means I feel like the center of the universe  ) it one wishes to write an epic story, it would be wiser to get the audience to care about the characters first before bringing the whole history book on them. In this ...

LEGO world for boys and girls

Hi Folks,

LEGO made it to CNN on... wait for it, gender equality issue :roflol: To be fair I found TLC made great progress on their then seriously lop sided gender ratio on boys VS girls minifig population. I found the article to be decent so figured to post and share it.

Re: Where did all the stories go?

So it makes the next question come up... how to stay relevant? Because I'm really unsure how.... Interestingly this is what I have been conceptualizing for the past few months. The key, IMO, is to utilized LEGO's strength as a medium while avoiding its many obvious pit falls. As for the part of bei...

Re: Custom Colouring?

Hi there, Not sure of what are you trying to achieve here but If you are only looking into presenting a concept I would suggest color spray, even the chroming process you mentioned is just that -- putting a layer of chrome material on top of the plastic without really changing its core color. The cl...

Re: Welcome News! LC8 entry

Damaged wall, intriguing details and equal warring opportunity for all genders! What is not to like? The only thing I would change ( and by no mean this is criticism as you are way beyond my league on building MOC at the moment; treat this more as a suggestion ) is to turn the tasty chicken drum sti...

Re: [MOC] The Windmill

It is like a painting, but in 3d and made of ABS :D

Can use a few more close up shoots on the wind mill though, as it is the main subject but just might be overshadowed by the awesome court yard

Re: My biggest creation so far...

Ah.. I remembered doing stuff like this ages ago and I was desperate for a digital camera. Now that I have a big digital camera I can't seem to recall the last time doing stuff like this  Seemed like mighty fun you had there, perhaps on your next trial you can work on your focus so to speak...

Re: For Loreos and our Freedom!

Always a pleasure to see works which are properly displayed and post processed, as a professional working in graphics I know how much that sort of hard work behind the scene is usually taken for granted :)

And extra kudos points for uneven terrain :D

You know, CC is the first forum which I became very active and I am very glad to find it appears to remain largely as it was while I went hiatus. 2K posts is a big mile stone indeed, keep up the good work for the community! ...who would oversee all of those pesky gong farmers? :) That got me thinkin...

Re: The Slayer of Fry returns

Thank you guys :)

@Bruce
Very nice to see you again chief archivist. Yes indeed I have a few plans cooking up to use LEGO as a medium on exploring the concept of spreading ideas/theories and may be telling some thought provoking stories as buidling stuff was never my primary strength.
