Re: What cliché’s do you dislike?

Some people are actually that stupid. What I dislike is a perfect hero, who is always right, never fails, is the best at everything without even having to try... I'd rather have a flawed hero who you are worried for will take the wrong decision, who sometimes messes up so that you're happier when he...

Re: Quest for the "Best Knight"

Exams kept me from opening this topic as you asked and I thought it'd get more attention if you did it anyway, but anyway, here's my guy: http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af170/Bragallot/AKIT/lordjames_zpsfba4c75d.jpg Lord James the Black! (actually designed by Silent-Sigfig for me to copy) My fa...

I laughed my Megablocks off at these, especially at the catapult with the cow on it, fantastic work :roflol:

Re: Where did all the stories go?

If they didn't care about them enough to keep them online they won't care about them enough to bug you about them either. I definitely think you should credit the people who created them but definitely upload them as well... You'd be doing a lot of people and Lego castle story-writing in general a h...

Re: Best Knight?

The old prints still have their charm imo. 'My' best knight is probably this guy, Lord James the Black, as designed by Silent-Sigfig (he sent me the design so I could copy it and he could use this guy in some of my battles): http://i1004.photobucket.com/albums/af170/Bragallot/AKIT/lordjames_zpsfba4c...

Re: Best Knight?

The guy from Black Monarch's Castle does take the cake.

I also really like this guy, because I think the classic visored helmet is so awesome:

There are more that I like, but I do feel I have to mention Princess Storm

Re: Dawn of Westeron

Chapter 2: Dark Omens Unsurprisingly, perhaps, Lord Goeting was the first to react. “Everyone who has a horse, with me!” he commanded. When he raised his voice, men from all three knightly orders alike tended to obey. Lord Adam was amongst those who drew back into the shadows, but that was to be ex...

Re: Dawn of Westeron

Chapter 1: the Joust “CLANG!” The hammer hit the gong hard. Before the sound had even died out, Sir Garth had already aimed his lance forward and driven his heels in his horse’s sides. The familiar sound of hooves galloping across the dirt was almost drowned out by the huge cheer the crowd gave. Ga...

Re: Where did all the stories go?

I've been trying to kick off my own Lego story, so here's the problems I've encountered: Writing a story and getting people interested (and keeping them interested!) in it is difficult. I write on DeviantArt and while initially I got a lot of views lately they've been waning. The internet doesn't li...

These are really cool. I'd refer to the fire by another name though, since the Loreesi probably don't know who the Greeks are. Loreesi fire?

Re: Castle and Tolkien sets for 2013

Probably because the new castle sets are all about simple design and they want you to buy the more expensive sets for these exclusive parts. The guys at Lego ain't dumb, you know ;)

Re: LCC-Loreos Official Faction Thread. *NEW LOCAL CHALLENGE

Seriously, do these points matter all that much? They're not 'used' for anything other than giving an idea which persons contribute the most to the faction, as far as I can tell. As long as there's consistency in the amount of points given from one challenge to another I honestly see no problem at a...
