I'm glad you all appreciate the flower field, because it took over three hours and a lot of cursing to put together. I think it's much better to make a little scenery in order to present MOCs than just sticking it in front of a white background. This particular diorama was inspired by an album cover...

New news from the home front, homes. In lieu of trying to restart the defunct Golden Shpleem , I started another blog with the ever-controversial Soren . Expect it to be a full 20% snarkier. So the new blog is called Tourist Bot's Diary , even though our eponymous mascot is strangely missing from th...

Steampunk Dirigible: The Leslie Anne Levine
http://www.neutronbot.com/model/dirigible_thumb/dirigible1.JPG I decided to finish one of my many half-built MOCs last week, and it actually happened. This ship was based off a Decemberists poster with 17th-century dirigibles on, and so I figured it needed a Decemberists name to go with. PLMKWYT, I...

Yeah, that's Felix "Fabulous Hair" Greco. It seems to be an expansion of his Green Wizard's Tower from about two years ago. I'm surprised he still had it around.
Anyways, i think i'll ask him if i can borrow some white bricks.

Looking quite impressive so far. For the greenhouse, maybe you could experiment with wrapping these Paradisa windows in that thin stiff flex-tubing used as podracer cables and kaadu tails and whatnot. It could look uber-Victorian if you do it right. I'd try it myself if i had those huge window bits....

I suppose fleshtone makes some sense: who else would be so unnaturally pale, but indoors-stayin' book-learnin' mage types? Thanks Lenny for (again) talking up my old mocs and very artfully embarrassing me into building new stuff. Your rocks are brilliant and rich in detail. I'm taking notes. But do ...
