I'll third the comment about landscaping, though I always run short on landscaping pieces so I can understand when MOCs don't always have a lot of it. I sure do Ryclen, it's actually my excuse to dabble in steampunk. The little boat was my seed part for this build. I wanted to build around it, because I agree with you that it adds something special to the model.

It's funny that you say that soccerkid, I was just looking at your Lenfald watch tower over at flickr and I was amazed by how similar it looked to the design that I used for this gaurd post. It sure does make for a sturdy yet low budget mode of defense.
