Re: BrickCon 2013 Castle Planning

I'd like to bring my trees and landscape again, 5' x 5', I wanted to have something new but that crazy thing called life got in the way. I do have another 2.5' x 5' partly complete but I doubt I'll be able to finish it in time.
I will have some PvC troops for both sides.

Re: Castle at Bricks Cascade 2012

Kristin and I had a blast attending Bricks Cascade! Kristin is really happy she won "Bannerman" for best collaborative in Castle, as many saw there she built quite a bit there.

Thanks Cory you did a great job coordinating!

Re: Castle at Bricks Cascade 2012

We're all registered now! :D

Haven't seen Game of Thrones but we are building a winter themed MOC so it may "fit".

If we've got room after packing everything I'll try to bring some of my medieval houses for a collaborative display.

Re: Castle at Bricks Cascade 2012

I'm happy to announce that Kristin and I will be attending Bricks Cascade!!

We're working on a new castle/fantasy theme diorama that will be 30"x45" which, time permitting, might grow to 60"x45".

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010

Ah yes Josh the tournament was fun, yesterday while digging through boxes I found the joust field I built still intact... well mostly. :) Are we going to have a tournament again? We've got the room. I've still got my little tents together all still on one 10" baseplate, if I get the time  ...

Re: Castle at BrickCon 2010

My pleasure, though I have delegated some aspects. Ah yes many hands make light work. I'll help where I can of course. What theme are you building this year? Any Castley bits? :) Actually working on Castley bits this time around but they/it/whatever may not fit into the "bits" category. :...

Ye Olde Republic wrote:Does anyone know how big the tables are? I think they're the same as one of the tables I have here at home and it's 30"x60" but I've been known to be wrong on occaision.
Table size should be 30"x96" a full 8 feet long.

Josh, thank you for coordinating Castle again.

Re: Bricks by the Bay - April 9-11 in SF Bay Area!

Yeah I can bring some houses but I'm driving my Aveo so I won't have much room. I could probably bring 4 houses along with some landscaping I was planning on bringing.

How much table space can I have?
I was hoping for 30"x30" possibly 30"x45"

Re: Brickfest PDX 2009 Planning Thread

I know it's been awhile since I posted, sorry about that, life has been busy. On vacation now with Kristin so I'm guessing that still doesn't free up time for here. But hey on to what I'm popping in here to say. Yes I will be attending Brickfest and I am actually bringing stuff not quite base8...

I guess I should say nasty things about you more often! :) So are you going to coordinate again? I'm just curious, because I've already started my layout and questions are already popping up. Josh Feel free, I need some prodding now and then. I think it'd be best if I stepped down this year. ...

<snip> This is going to be a very interesting Con... Later, Josh PS. On a more serious note, Darkie, did you ever hear who is going to coordinate Castle, since Thomas has defected to another theme (cough, Space, cough)? Oh yes this will be a very interesting Con and keep in mind we've got more room...

It might not be the greatest looking set but I really don't feel it's that bad. Being a tabletop gamer from years back it reminds me of a type of goblin war machine. I definitely love it. I happy to see LEGO going even more fantasy with this castle line the orcs/goblins look great along with that sh...
