I'd Have to say that the oval shields are the best. The triangular shields are kinda neat but the handle is very difficult to use. The handle on the oval shields is however, much easier to position.

wow, what a huge wall. If you keep the entire thing at that scale the final castle well, spectacular would be a good word to describe it.

Dragon Fortress, Oh yeah, and an awesome jacket. Got to work on the dragon fortress and came up with a palace for Jahmong.

about 70 troops of mixed "Factions" in the royal army, 60-70 armed townsfolk and mercenaries, 20 or so imperial soldiers-the pirate theme kind (which i use in my castle setting), 16 undead and 6 cutlass wielding monkeys

I think the problem with the residential type sets is obviously in the marketing to children. But, to say that the times are changing and so are the kids, is to ignore the history of castle themed sets. Nearly Every set that i can recall has had a weapon or soldier or something to fight with. This h...
