Hi Everyone- I have realized that I can't do the coordinator job this year. I recently started a new job in a new state and I am overwhelmed by it. I asked Ben if he'd be willing to take over for me and he has graciously agreed to do so. Thank you Ben!! We co-coordinated before as he mentioned, so I...

Thanks Darkie for moving the forum. I appreciate it!
Hey Joe- nice to hear from you. I miss NCLUG! It seemed prudent to wait until BrickWorld was over to start posting about BrickFair. One fest at a time...
It'll be great to see you and everyone else at BrickFair! Keep your ideas coming.

Castle Displays and Contests at BrickFair

Hi Everyone- It's time for all of us to think about BrickFair this Labor Day weekend in DC. Who's coming? I'll be coordinating the castle display this year, and I'd like to open this thread to start a discussion about the possibilities. I'd really like to hear everyone's thoughts so we can make the ...

It seems like this idea could be multiplied to make multiple vaults side by side, for people who'd like something wider. Of course, this would be limited by the arch width choices available, but still, it could be a solution to something wider than 10 studs. And since castle and church ceilings ofte...

I always liked the way this set looks, especially in combination with other sets from the 'same' time (more or less), like 6012, 6016, and 6022. It makes a nice part of a battle display. Cyndi BTW- several times, when I hit the 'reply' button, I am sent to the forum list instead of the posting page....

Hi Everyone, This is my first post at Classic Castle, although I've been a lurker here for a while. Welcome to the forum! Just a question, would you have joined if Bruce didn't announce the moc? Probably, but I wanted to wait until I actually had a castle MOC to post. Otherwise, I don't feel qualif...

Hi Everyone, Thanks for your comments and feedback, I appreciate it. This is my first post at Classic Castle, although I've been a lurker here for a while. I'd like to say that this castle wasn't intended to be historically accurate or to serve a purpose like being a fortress or palace. I just built...
