Re: Colossal Castle Contest 15

Great categories; I'm looking forward to entering.
One question: Must borders be within baseplate size requirements or can we have for example a border into which fits a 32x32 baseplate?
Thanks!

Re: LEGO Batman Movie - spoiler alert

It was by no means as good as The Lego Movie, but it was entertaining while it lasted. Still, I agree that the plot is lacking. As someone with very limited knowledge of Batman in general, I suppose many of the references must not have registered...

Lovely. It really does look like a home one would be happy to come back to.

Re: Custom Aedirnian Soldier (The Witcher II)

Excellent figure, it looks very realistic. I also really like the archway made with the 1x1 with clip on top.

Excellent figs and I particularly like the use of flowers to break up the snow.

I love the overall design and the roof on the right, but still... pricey.

Re: Building Discussion?

I would start by looking around on CC and Flickr and trying to figure out how people do things, then starting with small, simpler builds that you can complete to your satisfaction and building up from here. Asking for constructive criticism on CC is also a good idea. Just my two cents.

Under the Wall

It has been a while, but I am in fact alive. And I built!

Image

A knight and his squire travel along a wall as sentries above keep a sharp watch.

C&C welcome.

I've seen these at my local Lego store and had no problems with mixing the two types of parts in my PAB cup.

1. MMV
2. Helm's Deep- this one basically gave me enough gray to build my own castles. Also I loved the curved look.
