Thanks for posting this, Ben! It's nice to be able to finally talk about the experience, isn't it? I'm really glad that your Billund experience was great. I was just there a few weeks ago (LCP stuff). It's really an exciting place to be, isn't it? Gotta love that vault! I'm really happy with the way...

Absolutely brilliant castle! I love the cliff detailing ... Holy grey slopes, batman! I wish I had that many. The cliffs reminded me of building sand castles at the beach and the effect you get when you let that fine, watery sand slurry run through your fingers. Very cool. The tileage works so well ...

Well said, Ric ... er, Blue Knight (strange for me, having met you first by your RL names, and now switching to forum names ...). Thanks for your welcome and help at BF. Much appreciated. And, as I said elsewhere, awesome to meet the rest of you. Can't wait for NWBC! Robin P.S. Steve Penuel's creati...

Thanks for not being afraid to be real, Doom. I'm sure that there are others that share similar stories. I know that for me, Lego represents something simpler, purer, and less complicated in a very complex life, and I treasure that. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you at BF (I was there, but...

Kudos galore to Brendan for pulling this all together, and burning the midnight oil to build it all together. Thanks also for giving me the chance to square up 'ole Drachenschlaff and drop it into the layout. Far and away the best castle layout I've ever seen at a con/fest/display! Castle highlights...

Nice to finally meet some of you guys ... (I'm the stunned looking peasant-fig on the right that brought his horse to the photo shoot ... ). Now that I've put some faces to names (and nicks), I may have to drop by more often ... I think you need a few more old farts like me hanging around onc...

Justin, I loved ALL your stuff at Brickcon! Loved the castle arrow loops (even though they're backwards!), the catapult (coulda used it Sunday morning to help repel the space invaders), but most of all, it was YOUR micro stuff that has got me jonesin' to do something in that scale. Thanks for postin...

So, what's next? :D I've got a few ideas in mind, and I've definitely been bitten by the micro-scale bug (for something completely different ...), so we'll see. I also really love the whole steampunk genre, and have been wanting for a long time to create something along those lines. Then again, the...

The two castle awards are fabulous! There was much oohing and aahing over the micro-catapult and ballista (by me and others). I'm honoured to own and display them. In fact, I was so buzzed by Justin's micro castle creations that I think my next project will be in that scale. Can't wait ... Drachenbu...
