Bruce's highlighted sets are indeed memorable! Couple of other "castle-ish" sets that stick out from recent building sessions are Kingdom's 7947: Prison Tower Rescue, Ninjago's 2507: Fire Temple, and the Hobbit's 79003: An Unexpected Gathering. The two POTC ships deserve honorable mention ...

yeah, at first blush I was not excited about these sets... however, after picking up a few of the smaller sets, I am really impressed with the minifigure detail... throw a helmet on them instead of their mask/head piece and they'll will be joining my fantasy ranks
