I went to Toysrus looking to see if they were in, and they were. My original intention was merely to look, but I sat there a good 30 minutes looking and decided to buy this set now, and maybe the Longboat at a later time. For a newer lego set, I am impressed. The fortress looks very nice upon comple...

Forestman's Crossing for me. My brother had it when we were younger. Useful pieces, Maid Marian, and a great baseplate with much playability. Hopefully those little white dots will disappear from the baseplate this time around.

The Dragon Masters for me, too. I not only grew up with them, but they were basically the first Lego sets that I actually got around to picking up. Better set quality than the Fright Knights. When I saw the FKs, I thought, "Um...what happened to my Royal Knights? I don't want these...". I ...

Ah, unlimited bricks, huh? Well, I have a taste for colonial settings, so a Colonial town would be in order. Complete with harbor, with some British ships docked (modified 6271, anybody?). Oddly enough, I'd also create town reflecting my life with minifigures of me, my family, friends, and just rand...

Yes, architect is correct. When introducing Pirates to the world in 1989, TLC probably developed the shooting cannon for all countries, while so blissfully unaware of how stupid we Americans can be sometimes. Some kid pokes his eye out or the soccer moms complain of her son's toy with a projectile. ...

Wow, besides Vladek's Dark Fortress, that small Vladek's castle is the only KK2 set that I like. I highly dislike the ship, though. Maybe I can use it for parts?

I only buy MISB or MIOB sets. However, I try to get harder to find sets MIOB with sealed contents, such is the case with my 6273 and 6276. If it is a smaller old set, or a newer set MISB, I will open it. I think it is reasonable to open some older sets if you are willing to keep that set for yoursel...

Now that I look at it...I really dislike the "speckled" appearance of the helmets and weapons. Looks too realistic. These are toys, and in a toy, realism shouldn't be a factor in my opinion. The golden helmet is quite nice compared to the others. I also found the original pictures of these...

Wow...for a KK2 set, I'd say it looks pretty Megablocks good! I love the actual castle, anyway. Throw out the fruity power rangers and shadow dudes and bring in some real Lego knights...that's what I say! This will be the first castle set currently sold in stores that I will buy, and likely the firs...

Differences inLegos?

I've another question for you guys. As you can see, I'm not very "lego literate". I have the chance to get a lego set that I've always wanted. However, it is from a European country. Now, I want to know, just because my brother is getting bad vibes about it, are all European sets the same ...

I remember my brother received this as a gift one year. We never assembled it, and now we've long since lost the pieces. It looks to be quite a nice set. The design isn't necessarily the best, but it's a fun one, at least. The trees are very attractive, in my opinion. One holds a long since deceased ...

Now, the increased pieces aren't that big of a deal. But could anybody identify the quality of the legend as opposed to the original '89 one? Overall, do you think it's worth more getting a new legends one off of ebay or something? Or would you rather get a used original (I'm not shelling out a load...

Legends

Hello. I'm looking to get the Black Seas Barracuda Pirate Set. However, the Legend version may be an easier and cheaper alternative, right? So, my question to you Pirate Lovers is this. What are the exact differences between the Legoland and Legend versions? I would very much like to know. Thank you...

I had the set when I was younger, and my brother recently got a brand new, sealed set. Although not the most impressive set, it had it's good points. I think it is a nice little mini-base for the Royal Knights. The trick with the skeleton was quite amusing. I remember having the knights discover the...

Thanks for the help! I do have an account on both ebay and Bricklink, but have terrible, and I mean terrible luck on ebay whenever something goes up for auction. I'd prefer to pay a little more occasionally at Bricklink to ensure that my attempts to own a set are not futile. I'll watch ebay, but I a...
