Re: The Evening Before Battle

This is so rich - wonderful! The characters totally fit in, there is a plethora of accessories and it all looks right in its place. Nothing too much, and nowhere I get the feeling there is something missing. The walls and fireplace also look superb and just right for the scene. The only thing I woul...

Very atmospheric build. Works totally as movie-still. Deco, building and characters look very good together! :)

Re: LOR, Outlaw Clan

Fun looking group! They do really look the outlaw part. I like the variety of melee fighting styles. The piece of wall is very nicely run down - very fine building! :)

Re: CCCXII Falworth Castle Revisted

Interesting approach with the knights in the oriental setting. It works very well and I clearly envy them for their nice weather these days :)

The brickwork on the walls looks lovely. So do the rocks and the water cascade. Brilliant!

Re: New Hobbit Set Pictures

I got the Witch King set yesterday in the local Lego store. I was lucky: it was the last on the shelf and the only I could find anywhere. It is indeed a fun little set Minifig-wise and definitely a good catch for the money. Galadriel's glitter-cloak might be a bit much, but ok, Elven are allowed to ...

Hello Zurem & welcome to classic-castle from another new member!

The Black Falcon's Fortress is still one of the most beautiful castles around - what great way to start with! :)

Re: Collectable Figs Future Suggestions (Updated and Organiz

I don't think these have been made yet. Would be fun though: Albert Einstein (please with tongue sticking out! ) Escaped Prisoner (beagle-boys-style, with some $-bills and a piece of the prison window with some broken out bricks) Movie Director (perhaps Peter Jackson, would suit to the license...

Re: Castle Orc - tower and castle

Hilarious idea! I like all the funny little jokes you added - the troll-princess for example :orc:

The building quality is very impressive too, it has an overall very organic and natural feel. Not staged, rather a still of the all day's life at an orc-castele - love it! :)

Sweet little scene! It gives a nice feel of dirt and grime and barbarism. The improvised enclosure does its job very well. I like it lots :)

Re: New Hobbit Set Pictures

A shame that the Witch King Battle isn't available in Germany. Its a fun looking lower-price set. Especially minifig-wise

Well, I hope its just "yet" not available!

This is wonderful! Not only the superb building (the stone foundation really can hardly be done any better, same for rocks, trees and the composition of the ground), its also good to know the charity project behind it :)

Re: CC Set Review: 79007 Battle at the Black Gate

Hmmmm, for a set in the rather upper price-region it really could have more minifigs. The set itself looks pretty sound, but not exciting. It just needs some extra(s) to make it really interesting.

Re: CC Set Review: 9471 - Uruk-Hai Army

I hope they do. The current castle-line isnt more than a sad ruin of what it used to be. Generic ideas, and not terribly refined builds. I guess its an attempt to make the Lord of the Rings stuff more distinguished from it. But it really devalues castle and sets it quite low in the age-range. Perhap...
