Heating up the Horse with a blow dryer or in a pot of hot water helps immensely in separating the pieces.

Yellow/Flesh for Wood Elves (Sylvan) & High Elves (Highborn)
Sand Blue for Night Elves (Kaldorii)
Dark (Bluish) Gray for Dark Elves (Drow)
