Name: Croaker Age: Appears mid 40s- though rumor has him over 60. Appearance: Croaker is a large man with slate-grey eyes. That little hair he still has is silver-gray, and wraps around the sides and back of his head only. A matching short, stubbily beard and mustache covers his face. His hands are...

A question...

I think the group needs to have a discussion around what level of 'realism' is the RP going to have. Are we going to assume this is an open role-play, where the characters are 'real' people" and the world is 'real'? Or are we assuming that the characters are actually 'living' minifigs, in a wor...

Legoland Kansas- an update

I just spent three weeks in Kansas city. Here is the scoop. Olathe, a suburb of Kansass city, IS in negotiations to build an entertainment complex. It is slated to include: - a legoland on the size and scale of the one in San Diego. - a lego themed resort hotel - a private aquarium - a sports comple...

Worst jobs in history?

Has anyone else out there seen the show "Worst jobs in History?" I found it on the History Channel International, I think. I also think it was a BBC 4 program. It was a series, looking at the worst jobs in certain time periods. Very funny. Of course, if I have time, I might make a few vig'...

The sheep and the oxen are 'franken-animals'- cobbled together from other, far more learned MOC'ers than I. The Tower itself is relatively stable in real life too. I only have enough wooden wall sections to do one side. But it is easy to use the tabs on the 'inside' to attach supports to to give it ...

My suggestion is to leave the indent in the middle, and cut some groove radiating from the middle outward toward the edges, to make it appear as a plate:

His work is excellent, and I recommend his entire gallery to everyone to view.

As for this garden scene, it seems a bit... sterile for lack of a better word.

Adding a peacock, some birds, a fish, or a toad might add a bit.

Gardens need animals.

Don't forget "The Messenger".

Sure, it was a movie about Joan of Arc. But it features some really nice castle shots, fortifications, and other items.

Worth the watch, once.

I believe in supporting that idea to the hilt.

There is a joke there about the French army, chickens, and the fighting abilities of both the French army and French soccer players......

But I'm not going there!

I would love to see minifig scale farms, for three reasons: 1) Lego should always offer non-violent play alternatives. That is a mission I have seen the company get away from in recent years. 2) A farm could be truly cross-genre. City, castle, Harry Potter, and with a few modifications Exo-force and...
