Ah, yes, I see it now. Great technique. Thanks!AK_Brickster wrote:He reverses stud polarity using one of these, which presumably also has the plate portion sticking down into the roof, anchoring the timber in place.

Re: Proudspire Manor
Agreed! How did you get that post in the middle of the roof to stay in place? To my out-of-practice eye it looks like the bottom ledge is just keeping it from falling, but if you have a different solution, I'm interested in learning how you did it.josdu wrote:I love the intricate roof here! Re: Heroica/Ninjago mix
These are great! Especially love the archer. I agree that something like this would have been better than Nexo Knights, but I'd be broke if LEGO had done that.

A bit far out for me, but I just wanted to congratulate you on your first Lego convention! I made it to my first one last summer (Brickslopes here in Utah) and had a great time. I look forward to your pictures!

Me, too! What an awesome tribute to LEGO's greatest theme. You've really captured the feel of all the sets you represent here.Elephant Knight wrote:If this were a set, I would go right out and buy it!

So much nostalgia. These are great! I love the way you used the Bull shield. The bucket handles are a genius solution for the belt buckles.

Beautiful scene! I love that water/underwater section, and the sleigh would make a perfect Christmas decoration. Those trees are fantastic, too.

Glad to see you're still doing your brick-built beasts, boses. I like the clean design on this Warmech. The tubing up front is a nice touch; it's crazy how flexible that piece is.

Well, I can't help but feel a little awkward. I pop back in to CC after more than three years away (as fun as they are, the AFOL Facebook groups just don't have the same charm as the old forums), and the first thing I do is resurrect a post that last saw action in 2014. In my defense, though,...

MOC: The Waters of Mormon
Hey all! It's good to be back on CC. I've been in a bit of a Lego "dark age" for a while, but I've had the itch lately to pull the bricks out and start building again. While searching for inspiration the other day for what to even build (because where do you start when you haven't built an...

Re: LCC - Lenfald - "Under the Cover of Darkness"
That brick-built tree looks really good. I'm not sure how I feel about the trophies/statuettes ornamenting the wall, but I like the wall itself. I want to get some of those brickwork pieces....

Re: Royal Castle - Tradesman's entrance
I like those guards a lot. They definitely do reflect the "classic" part of castle with their colors and shields, but the gold also gives them a new feel. The combination works well.
