Quite nice. Your starting to really get good at these, and branch off into custom pieces. Well Done! P.I I dont see any custom pieces ;) Great work, how much did you pay for that golden c-3po body? TT I won one. 8) And you're right; I don't use any custom pieces on my characters, they're all pure L...

Yes. It's exactly the same minifig as in set 7093.

Castle Chess Set Picture Review

Hello ! I got the new Castle Chess set in the mail today, and I took some pics of it. First, the good news: nothing is glued ! :D (except the board, that is...) 1.The case. Nothing really new from what we've seen already. The artwork is nice, though; especially around the chess board. http://www.bri...

Well...so you are the other one who bought those dark purple halberds.. These new characters are very cool. :D Those Alpha team torsos indeed work great for Castle; I use them for a small undead faction, but these bleached bugs look even better ! I also like the little evil dwarf; very nice c...

The helmet is light gray, like all the knights of the Classic Castle era used to wear. It may look a little yellowish because of the lightning.

And for the armored knight...well, I just thought this was a nice combination of parts, and I immediately wanted to use that metallic visor when I got it. :D

This is really, really beautiful !
It has a very organic appearance to it, from a distance it doesn't even look like it's made out of Lego.

Ok, let me clearify this mistery.. :
Both the heads and hands are flesh; actually, this is the first time that I'm using this color on a character.
I think the lightning conditions made it look somewhat yellowish.

My latest addition to my characters is this couple of veterans: The jellybean-ish color may be doubted, but anyway it's a good opportunity to use the purple helmets I just got. :D http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/marakoeschtra/Castle/Castle-Characters/thumb/29_veterans.jpg_thumb.jpg < click for the...

This MOC is very nice ! :D Some things I especially like about it are the roof construction, which is rather interesting, the way you did the field, and the little details such as the animals. (that's a great swan design; it looks somewhat familiar  ;nice usage of that technic piece !) The onl...
