I doubt he's either going to sell or open these sets. I quote from his lugnet profile: "More & Less: More: MISB (yes! MISB .. are my obsession!!!), less tatty boxes, boxes without cellophane or seals brocken Rules I try to live by: No.3. Never open a MISB set" I saw this guy pay over £...

6073: I like the red brick door and green flags :D
Although 6074 comes a close 2nd - I like antisymmetric castles (they are more aesthetic and more efforts gone in to desiging them).

These are pretty cool. I especially like the Conisborough castle, I sometimes pass it on the train and that keep never fails to impress. When I'm looking for inspiration I go to evensong at my cathedral. Hearing those celestial voices, and knowing that this has gone on everyday for over a millenium ...

Wow these are really great.

If it's not too late I'd like to reiterate what Jacob C said about an extra shield in set 7090. That would make it a perfect army builder.

Well done Lego!

It depends on why the sets are differently priced. If Lego sells to all countries at the same price and the difference is incurred because of tax and wage differences then that's fine. (I look at it as my few pounds on the lego set is funding my free health care and 18 years of free/very cheap educt...

Yellow or blue boxes?

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I can't find a post. I was just wondering if you prefer the newer blue boxes, the really old LEGOLAND ones (e.g 375, 677, 383 etc) or the yellow LEGOLAND ones in between (1984 - 1992 ish). At first I hated the new blue (because of sentimental value to the...

6085 wins hands down. However, if money is an issue I'd go for 6086 (I guess 6085s more expensive since i's the oldest)

Wow!! Great work. This is amazing. My only constructive criticism is that the quire is perhaps a little too short, maybe it would be better being one bay longer (but that'll mean more pieces!). Are the towers going to be spires? What about the crossing - another tower?? This truely is spectacular an...

Yup, I vote for 2 too! I would prefer not to have had the fleshies to start with but seems as that isn't an option side by side is the best. The yellow heads can't be abandoned yet stopping fleshies would probably be seen as a step backwards. So I think number 2 is most likely what tlc will do (suit...

Yeah, I really like this. I wont repeat what everyone's said (though I agree with them). I also like- 1. The fact that the chimney's a darker grey than the rest of the house (look at any old cottage and there's always a scortch mark on the outside of the house where the chimney is i.e. the smoke dar...

Hi Felix, thanks for the comments. (If you think the sides are big grey wall syndrome, you haven't seen the back! *joke*. No seriously, I was gonna put in some arrow slits but ran out of plates, but when my next BL order arrives that'll be rectified). As for the snot technique: http://www.classic-ca...

Hi Kyle That's a really cool moc. I like the novel use of a fence for the window (plus what is the upstairs front window made out of?). I finally worked up the guts to post it There was no need to worry - this could easily pass for a medieaval house of an experienced builder. Hope to see some more m...
