4. Building and playing with official sets, to me, is a very relaxing thing, especially after work. I agree! Building MOCs can take a while to get good-looking results, but when building a set you can just sit down and build without doing any thinking or planning. Plus, they have more play features...

Wow, these walls give off a truly impressive appearance! Perhaps I shall pretend it is a standard and copy it.

Re: Elven Gondola

Thanks again to all, I just saw that I was featured on the front page! That's really cool, I'd like to see what it would be like if you expanded on this Elven domain and maybe build a palace somewhere too. Tim Gould built a small Elven Palace shortly after I first posted this. I might build one myse...

Holy crap I am approximately as excited about this as one might reasonably expect a LEGO fan who should found out a LEGO store is opening in his home town to be! That is, too excited to consistently use non-convoluted sentence structure.

Great work on the building! It is realistically built and decayed! And I was surprised to see the castle wall part in there...

It looks nice all set up--but it would be pretty entertaining to watch the walls shift around as you play!

For starters, I'm not familiar with LEGO Advent Calendars, so I'm wondering if any of the prizes will have some form of Christmas tie in, like a tree or an old fashioned Christmas dinner arrangement. In recent years, they have been completely un-Christmas-related up until the 24th, when usually the...

The rock monster doesn't get much love because of his lack of posability - he's frozen in place, except for one arm. But he looks pretty cool, so I say go for it!
