Re: Orthanc

Oh, imagine this with dark bley!!!! One thing about this design and the colour, it will be very easy for anyone to "pump it up" to new heights and still maintain the look of the original set. I chuckled that Treebeard is not list with the minifigs included.

Re: [LCC] An unexpected family reunion

Hello everyone, here is my 2nd free build for April. If you were wondering where the werewolf in the previous story came from ... I hope this comic makes it clear! http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8254/8670579430_4464276a31_n.jpg Cheers Adam The only change I would suggest is for the second panel - th...

Re: Welcome to our new admins - Blue and Dave

(but who is Dave, sorry for my bad knowledge  ) Hey, I'm Dave, AKA DaveE, AKA Dave Eaton , AKA davee123! And as your new admin, I claim the right of Primum Figurae Femininae, the right to all your first female minifigures! ... Or... no? I'm being told no. Darn. Aha, now I recognize you from t...

Congrats to both.

With the addition of Blue, will the skin change to a red theme, just to deflect any suggestions of narcissism. :D

Re: The Worst King

By far the worst king must be: http://www.bricklink.com/ml/cas420.jpg (via Bricklink ) The Troll/Orc King. Think about it. He's only the king because he's the strongest and can push everyone around. If you don't follow his orders, he'll kill you. If you're not under his command, he'll search you ou...

I suppose I'm in the minority, but 70404 brings back fond memories of 6080 (my first castle set) and 6073. I like it a lot.

Re: Using 2x2 clip on flags as a shingled roof

Hey guys, I recently bought over 100 of these hoping to use them to do a shingled roof of some sort. http://img.bricklink.com/P/11/2335.gif When I actually started playing around with them, I found that working out some sort of attachement/overlap system wasn't as easy as I thought it was going to ...

Re: Curved Slope Stairways

http://pinlac.com/images/YodasLegacy-a05-005-thumb.jpg This stairway feels incomplete. The 'wings' on the ends need to have a 1x2 or 1x3 brick under them (or should I say 'behind them' for the SNOT technique) to fill out each step. For me, the empty space at the ends of each step detracts from the ...

Re: Rampant speculation on -?-

I think the whole point was to do something crazy and fun. What suits that better than medieval polar bears!?! :D I think it's a very interesting and creative idea! I'm on board with the awesome-ness of Polar Bear People. It certainly whets the appetite for other Animal People to be created.

Sorry Fraslund but your gonna really get it for that one :D.

I'm guessing some sort of awesome tournament.

Re: Rampant speculation on -?-

Based on the graphics, I would say that these are the contestants of a new reality show: Who is Next? through which the next iteration of the Doctor will be decided by on-line voting.

Just sayin'......
