Behold the power of the Babel Fish!!!.

This is a nice MOC, but I think the outside walls suffer from too much of the "big grey wall" syndrome. Even still, it is better than I could do.

I don't care if they lower their prices or not, as long as they stay in business and start to see a profit. Of course, I hope they don't RAISE their prices :P

Great MOC! I really like the decapitated head in the well. Nice touch. Also, I really like that someone killed one of the Power Ranger Knights. If only they had killed the red one as well :P Only problem with the standard smiley head is that it makes all the soldiers look waaay too happy to be dead....

None of the Jelly Bean Knight helms, for example, are too far removed from historical closed-face helms of the 14th-16th centuries. Perhaps you are correct. You obviously seem much more knowledgable about the subject. Maybe it's the swords and colors that make me detest them so. Whatever the case, ...

What I like about the older LEGO helmets is that they are at least grounded in reality. While they may not be modeled after any particular real-world helm, they are still totally believable. With exception of the grilled helm, you can imagine any soldier/knight actually wearing them. Oh well, I real...

A great MOC, as usual; and only the first white prison I've ever seen. :-) I'm not so sure it's white. Look at the bottom of the tower on the right-hand side in this pic and notice that it uses one of these pieces which do not come in white (at least, not to my knowledge). I think the castle is lig...

Well, not dark red, but he also has blue pointed visors. Not sure how I feel about it though, $19.00 US...ouch!

Not to derail my own topic, but I found this shield interesting :D. It is from the site that D-Man linked to for the helmet example

Even though you have made better use of those KK2 torsos than TLG, I still think baby blue is a terrible color for a knight :P I do like the knights with the lion shield, but they look odd having dragon plumes. I think they would look better with the feather plumes, but that's just a matter of opini...

Also, the color of the flags didn't mean much to me as those would, presumably, be extremely easy to change out. That doesn't make much sense. :-) Everything is easy to change out. I acknowledged that the shield would also be easily replaced, right after the statement you quoted :P That's for sure....

Wow  That's awesome. In particular I like how the walls (outside) are not just flat. Also, I love the crossed swords over the main entrance. The interior is wonderful and very realistic with stairs and walkways to get to all of the various areas. Great work. You should be proud :D

the flag is clearly the (older era) Lion colours, and the red wall suggest Lions rather than Falcons See, I never assumed the color of the wall indicated any kind of allegiance or ownership by a particular faction, it's just a tudor style wall which would have been the same from one town to the nex...

No offense to anyone who likes this set, but this castle exhibits early signs of all of the things I feel are "wrong" about present-day LEGO castle. I know some DO like the fantasy direction in which LEGO took the castle line, but I hate it and this castle is pure fantasy - fine for those ...

Question about The Guarded Inn

Hey guys! I just scored a copy of the Guarded Inn off of e-bay and had a question. So who exactly does the inn "belong" to? There are two crusader guards which leads you to believe that the inn is located in or near Crusader territory, HOWEVER, there is a BF shield mounted on the rear wall...
