The set is still not available in Canada, so I assume that it will come out here soon. I still got a copy of the set when I was in the US.

Do think it would be worth driving down to the event from Ontario?

someone could have easily have took a hand full of normal castle figs then rumaged for some bricks.....put them together and made a jester and a peasent women...... those pieces that look new can be old actullay, or customized.....its very simple........look at peoples MOCs.....they make their own ...

It is definitely real. Colonel Sanders is very trustworthy. And as SW4J points out, Colonel Sander also posted a large number of other sets that are again definitely real. Along with the the surprise in 2 months (And it is pretty cool)! :D But on the point of the Calender itself, it looks fantastic....

There are no LEGO stores in Canada, although there is a chain of stores called "Bricks and Blocks" which has a small pick a brick selection. The two stores are only in Ontario, where do you live?
