Wow! Very cool indeed. LEGO has been coming up with some really great themes and sets recently. I need to be a little more thrifty so that I can purchase these!

Re: The Jewel of your Lego Castle Collection

Hey all, Got a question... What is your most treasured Lego [(you)]Castle[/(you)] set (including subthemes such as Vikings but not Harry Potter)? Mine, I have a MISB 6086 Black Knight's Castle. So then I guess the Time Cruisers count? Absolutely, for all those lucky folks who managed to get t...

Missing Pieces in New Lego Sets

Hey all, It seems as though there has been alot of talk about missing pieces in newly purchased Lego sets. Just curious... How many people have had missing pieces in the new sets (that came out in 2005-08 ) they have purchased in the past couple of years? Me? I haven't had any missing pieces in any ...

I'm actually impressed with this theme (along with Star Wars, Castle, and to a lesser extent, Town/City). I would go far as saying that I actually like these sets more than what Lego has come up with recently for Castle. I'll probably get 1 of each of these.

Thanks for the excellent review. I like the design of the wheels and general concept, but it seems overpriced; I think that this is a set in the USD$25 range. The mid-section seems to be lacking, but of course it can be modified. It has excellent steampunk potential.

I have to admit, the set designs are pretty nice. Kudos to the designers. I really like the new Fantasy theme with its orcs, trolls, ogres, skeletons, zombies, etc. (Lego Warhammer, anyone?) What impresses me the most are the 'undead' vehicles more so than the castles. The Battle Wheel, among severa...

I like how you designed the walls; you were really thinking 'outside of the box' (Pun intended). I look forward to seeing the final result.

Heheh... this thread is funny. For me, the various factions represent different political views, and the strife between the various factions is really a microcosm of politics. Right now, I see the Black Falcons as a vassal faction to the Black Knights. (All hail Black Knights!!!) I have two key fact...

Metallic Armor and Helms

Hey folks,

I've got a question is the new metallic coloring on the armor and helms injected into the mold or is it painted on to the plastic?

Thanks,
Horak

A good question... I like the new metallic armor, but I like the classic stuff better; I would probably think that the switch from 'Undead' to 'Classic' is an improvement. The quality of the plastic material, the colors, and the designs (for the most part) are better. I like the old factions such as...

Red Beard?

It's hard for me to figure out the color of one the beards from the pics; the one that the dwarf with the silver winged helm wears on the picture on the box. Is it red, a reddish-brown, or 'turkey-wing' tan? Thanks again for the pics!

OK, I guess. I had way too many of these from various sets and then I converted into royal archers. Like the minifig head.
