Re: Pink Knights?
No problem with mine figs also. Originally I thought I hadn't noticed it because of being slightly colour blind but it seems that it may be just a problem with a certain batch.

Re: Tolkien's Writings
Although the books tell stories from one and the same universe, each of them (I'm counting the LoTR trilogy as one book) has its own unique style, setting and even its own audience. The Hobbit is certainly easy to read. It is to say the door to Tolkien's universe, a story which attracts kids but one...

Re: What are your favorite medieval weapon?
My favorite weapon of that time is the dagger. Simply because whenever the dagger or the poison have worked there was no need to bring up the heavier stuff
Otherwise the greek fire was some weapon of its time...

Re: What's your favourite Castle helmet?
Being a declared CC purist I must surprise even myself and give my vote to the Shadow Knights helmet design. It provides good protection and has no unnecessary decoration.
Yet, the batlord helm also has its unique charm.

Re: What were your first Castle sets
My first two castle sets were 6039 and 6103 back in the beginning of 1989 - the Wind of Change brought some LEGO to Eastern Europe (although by that time there was a selection of only 3 or 4 sets in the local shops). I still own both sets and in my humble oppinion the red lion barding is the best ho...

Re: Classic-[Insert New Name Here].com?
Hi, I have not written anything for some time now but I find this issue really important. In my humble oppinion TLG has actually changed the name once to .... "Knights Kingdom". And I believe it was not only me that did not feel good about the whole idea of it. So, please keep the name &qu...

Re: The Five Kings
I casted my vote for the so called "Good King" since this minifig comes with some very nice parts and the colour scheme is well chosen. I don't think that the same old crown just painted in brown fits for a troll king. May be TLC should have come with another solution to distinct troll roy...

Re: Weekly Set Review: Dragon Rider
I don't like the concept of Bulls and dragons at all but like Jojo I also think that the chrome helmet is a must. It makes addition to my blck knights/dragon riders faction. Overall the chrome set was a good idea (especially from a marketing point of view) except for the shield. It looks different i...

Definitely Crusaders. As someone else mentioned - very well developed faction. I would say the top of classis castle development.

Accessory packs are always welcome. You get one skeleton (it is a minifig on its own after all), black haldberd and a lot of other cool stuff. However, from my point of view it is hard to find a good usage of the green hood and I have more than enough crowns which seems to be a problem for most of t...
