AMPGARD

I just joined AMPGARD, a LARP group. it isn't local, it's worldwide, so I was wondering if anybody else has heard of it!

Basically you create garb, and big foam weapons, and whack each other with them. Tons-of-fun to fight and make your equipment.

as a side note, who made that CCIV picture? It looks like a Mike Rayhawk, but I can't be sure.

Good photography, the 'white abyss', often enhances pics and can add to a MOC's awesomeness.

Beleive me, it's hard to get it nice though. :?

the best KK2 minifig thus far...the black is the most realistic armour color, and the visor is pretty cool!

I have one as well that I *might* be willing to part with, but It's more fun to keep the whole tradition of this one special fig. :D

I don't think I'll ever get over the old Yellow figs, and I will continue to buy ones I like over bricklink.

I do support fleshies though, and my (small) collection of them is growing. I hope to use them mainly for different races, like elves or something.

Well, Brickshelf has it's advantages for image use and MOCpages and all, but like Dunechaser said, there is a Flickr Community, which makes it a lot more fun.

I actively use both however....

Interestingly, Grim Reaper is called Azrail in Turkish. Strange coincidence huh? ;) I don't think it was a coincidence. As evidenced by LEGO using Maori names in the first year of Bionicle, people often take names from other languages, and tweak them a bit. Stawastawa, I think your avatar is really...
