I've been out of the Lego loop for a while... What's this about battery operated figures? Minifigs that one cannot customise, change, or otherwise take apart? I always thought that was one of the major strengths of Lego, the fact that you could do whatever you wanted with it.

Unfortunately, no stores yet in Canada. The closest to where I am is Bellevue, Washington - but a trip across the border is a pain.
