Re: Warner Bros. is Building a LEGO Movie

I'll wait to see more before I say yay or meh. I tend to like "bad" or corny movies, though I can count the kids movies that I've liked on one hand, so who knows...

Re: Classic-[Insert New Name Here].com?

Meh. I hope they don't change it. Again(?) And I didn't like Ninja, Vikings, or Knights Kingdom, so that hardly makes me feel any better :)

Re: 1980's LEGO ad

You're definitely not the only one interested. I just put "Lego commercial" into youtube and it came up with at least a couple older commercials that I enjoyed watching. Also, up until recently, this was my wallpaper on my desktop: http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/8290/piratebatterwallpa...

Congrats :) I have two small ones (4 and 2 1/2), so I know the feeling.

Re: St. Saviour Church - Jerusalem

A very nice MOC, thank you for building it and sharing! The only thing I'm confused about is using helmets for crosses. :) :raiseone:

Re: Modification of bricks

Thankfully I've rarely had a need to modify parts over the years. The only time that comes to mind is when I modified this part by cutting off the end of it so that I could attach two parts together:

Re: about dark forest

Fwiw, according to Brickipedia: "The sets were not featured in European catalogues but were nevertheless available at some shops." I can't verify the accuracy of that statement, though.

Re: New Film: Title is Irrelevant!

I admit to being a bit confused by the video, but I still gave it 5 stars as it made me laugh out loud a couple times. :)

Re: Dark Ages

In my case there was no one set or theme that brought me out of my dark ages. I was initially forced to go into my dark ages by my mother, who thought I was too old to be playing with Lego at the age of 14. After that I remained in my dark ages for about a decade. For whatever reason it wasn't until...

Re: LEGO Battles video game

I looked into this game, and unfortunately I'm gonna have to pass on it. I guess I just prefer turn-based strategy. *shrugs* :)

I guess if you like it then it's not a waste of money, though personally I don't really like it that much. :)

Also, skeletons are real and have been PROVEN to exist.
As to skeletons rising from the grave and attacking people... only Bruce Campbell knows the answer for sure. ;)

I went into my dark ages about four years before Fright Nights came out, so I had to review the sets on Lugnet before posting. Basically I'd just echo what others have said: too many large pieces, not a fan of the shields or colors, etc. As I look back over the sets, 2872 Witch's Fireplace is the on...

The Temple of Doom was my favorite one, I even have fond memories of playing it on a console and an arcade game. It stinks if this decision is final.
