Re: More Minifigures in Large LEGO Castle Sets

... per release, which probably goes against their sales model, so my solution would be to plan factions over two-year releases. Year 1: Faction A - polybag Faction B - $12 set Faction A - $20 set Faction B - $30 set Faction A - $50 set Faction B - $100 set Then switch it in year 2: Faction B - polybag ...

More Galaxy Squad

... large hive structure for bugs; obviously this would be the one containing the red squad figures. Polybags: The orange and green squads each have a polybag set available. Seems only fair to do one for red and blue eventually. Battle Pack: A small set featuring four generic soldiers, one from each ...

Re: Please issue the 'Cowl' and 'Hood' In more sets/colors

I really want lego to make the hood in white, green, and especially olive green. Im also very happy that lego has released a TH polybag "Mirkwood elf guard" with the dark green hood! The LOTR sets with Ithilien Rangers are going to be great sources for hoods and cloaks, I'm thinking. ...

Re: Collectable Figs Future Suggestions (Updated and Organiz

... be if there were a series that included more extra parts rather than just the 1 or 2 accessories. What I'm thinking of would be basicly small polybag sets similar to some of the ones which are currently being made like Frodo's kitchen and the Mirkwood elf sets and some of the polybag city ...

Re: Bring back the polybag! Please.

Some of the sets my daughter gets from Brickmaster are quite large and they all come in polybags. I admit that I remember the end cap displays with numerous polybag sets hanging off pegs, what a great thing to find with a pocket full of allowance and chore money! There ...

Re: Bring back the polybag! Please.

As for me, I couldn't care less what the sets come in. I just want small sets. Josh I agree. I remember the KK1 Defense Archer (polybag version) that I would find at Wal-Mart and buy up. It wasn't until later that I saw it came in a box as well. I was just happy to have such a nice army ...

Re: Bring back the polybag! Please.

There are at least 2 polybags out at the moment. One is a Racer theme and the other is an Atlantis theme one. Neither one has a minifig, I picked up the Atlantis one #30040 , 42 pieces that make a squid or octopus like creature in black. I found it @ Target near the checklanes....

Re: Bring back the polybag! Please.

I really enjoyed buying polybag sets. I think why TLG isn't making anymore polybags because some consumers may not see the value in a small plastic bag but reach for the large box. They have the same amount of pieces, but the box seems ...

Re: Bring back the polybag! Please.

I have nothing against the polybag it's just that the major retailers usually choose not to sell them, I'm lucky to even find the impulse sets.

Re: Bring back the polybag! Please.

I agree. TLC keeps making the boxes bigger and bigger. Everytime I get a big castle I wonder how much more money, space, materials and fuel they waste by increasing the box size.... Heir Or how many sales are generated by the box size: LEGO has a lot of competition in the construction toy market no...

True about the seasonal promos, but I liked it when I could walk around the toy aisles and see a peg full of all sorts of polybag sets.

Re: Bring back the polybag! Please.

I understand the move away from the polybags. TLG can put the products into a box that is more than four times the size it really needs to be so that it's more impressive on the retailers shelves. The ironic part is that when the set if finally built, we have a tendency to think, " This , came ...

Re: Bring back the polybag! Please.

I never saw polybaged sets (France), so I don't really know what to think about their desirability in shops. I think it would be better ecology-wise, to still get polybags in plastic, if polybag is to be back, or boxed sets filled ...
