Re: Hot Pink Brick Separator
It doesn't seem like anyone bothered to suggest that you simply change the color of the handle of the brick seperator you already have. Paint it with a plastic bonding acrylic or simply use a strip of brightly colored tape (or maybe stickers) around the handle. If all you are after is visibility, th...

How could they have missed it?!
In the current Lego Holiday Catelogue, on page 37, there is an image of the Kingdoms Lion Battle Pack. The name and item # are for the Kingdoms Dragon Battle Pack. I checked the website and found the same image mistake on their online catelogue. When you click on the image, though, it opens a screen...

Re: Two NEW Lego Themes from the Far East
My prediction about the Holiday Catelogue has been proven incorrect, but I still hold out hope for the January Catelogue. As for new items discussed in earlier posts, some were clearly shown on the pages I saw, others were merely artists' renderings, stil others seemed to be unfinished prototypes. B...

Re: Two NEW Lego Themes from the Far East
I actually saw the pages from a confidential catelogue in Dutch before it was removed. I expect the Holiday Catelogue to have sets from both these themes.

Re: LEGO Theme Survey
One thing that would appeal to me would be minifig scale Neolithic Britain sites. Possibly a tie in with the rumored return of Adventurers, or maybe a line for Creator as models for the adult market. More than Stonehenge (which technically isn't a henge), there are thousands of stone age sites acros...

Re: Two new Takeshi Itou MOCs
Frontier Castle makes me a little jealous. All those cypress trees and the yellow and black castle walls in wonderful condition. Great design and execution. The design elements make one want to make several revisits for ideas.

Re: More Kingdoms factions.
I wouldn't expect anything on the Kingdoms front until Summer 2011. I have seen magazine pages with confidential Lego images with Dutch text. This text included launch projections in months, December through April. There was no Kingdoms shown. I saw the next wave of several existing themes. That's a...

Re: More Kingdoms factions.
Re-purposing is your best bet, but I would suggest Vikings torsos. They have a more generic soldier look, therefore a wider range of uses.

Re: 2010 LEGO Kingdoms Official Pictures
I have a question about the Kingdoms Knights Battle Pack. I was looking through my current Lego catelogue and saw the images that they used were reprints from the cover of the battle pack. I noticed that the torso color for the soldiers in chainmail in the image was red. Is this a mistake? All the i...

Re: Please bring back the dragons.
Yes! Yes! Yes! Bring back the dragons. What I believe was the tipping point for good dragons came with advent of the large ball joints and the clicking rotator joints. It came during the Vikings theme. The biggest dragon set I ever bought was a Creator set. It was the green version (now discontinued.)

Re: Bases: a discussion
Years ago, before my Dark Ages, I used to make mountains with multiple tiers using inset flat baseplates. I like the premolded textured baseplates now for some of my more vertical ideas, but they often have to be disguised because of the regularity of their coloring. Landscaping texture is a must fo...

Of yours I went with crossed swords, but what I'd really like is a Scottish thistle design. Something like these: http://www.gaelsong.com/fullsize/145111/2 (Pendant on the left) or http://www.gaelsong.com/fullsize/145091/2

Little Armory is Back!
I know, Little Armory didn't 'go away' but they have done some major re-stocking of their medieval line. And they've added new colors: copper and pewter! Just in time for the summer releases of Kingdoms.

Re: EB Review NEW Kingdoms Knights' Showdown
The catapult piece is the same one that appears in Battle of Alamut. I believe the idea behind the smaller piece is to limit the distance a child can launch legos from it. It also limits children to a 1x1 size (or less) of projectile.
I like the new dark toros. They would be good for steampunk armor.
