Re: Put the bar codes back on CMF bags
The wife and I proved that the bar-code phone app was slower than me anyhow. If I am around a pile of these things I will help any kid that comes up to find exactly what they want. As should everyone else with this "skill". Heck, I even teach other kids and family members how to do it. Kee...

Re: Series 7.... It's a Boar! (and other castle parts)
When series 7 was announced, and since it came out, I initially decided that the Boar Knight would be like the Black Falcon in the Royal Joust exclusive set (i.e. special and singular). Since opening a few from the box I ordered, I have decided he is actually quite AMAZING and I want an army of them...

Re: What's your castle lego collection look like?
I have almost nothing from the 1980s, because strangely for me I stopped buying LEGO due to the impression (mistaken!) that it wasn't cool or needed anymore. I picked up again around 1992 or 1993, but I missed all the Crusaders, Black Falcons and most of the Black Knights and Wolfpack. I made due wi...

Re: Jelly Bean Knights
Their floppy, flimsy, and way too colorful to be made of metal "Zwords" were horrid. I would have much rather had more of the classic short-sword or anything else. Could not see much purpose for those. The theme as a whole was not a bad idea, but the execution was bright to the point of be...

Re: Series 7.... It's a Boar! (and other castle parts)
My Walmart HAD series 6 in March. They kept the series 6 sidecap display and re-filled it with series 5 and marked them up to $3.00 from the original $2.97. Meijers is currently selling all series 5 for $1.50 each. Perhaps Meijers before Walmart in Ohio...

Re: Series 7.... It's a Boar! (and other castle parts)
Series 7 has not yet reared en masse in the United States yet, if at all. Series 5 still sits at many Walmart stores, and Toys R Us seems to be the only reliable source for Series 6, which they have many of still. It might not be until late May or June for us.

@ kevdragon,
I suspect it's the hat effect combined with the skirt/slope.

Why did you change the Brick, Arch 1 x 5 x 4?
Dear LEGO, Please stop ruining this part: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2339 http://www.bricklink.com/PL/2339.jpg I do not know what has possessed you to alter the underside of the arch so that it no longer clutches bricks, but I have found myself overlooking any and all sets that conta...

Re: LotR sets revealed!
When we get to Hobbit sets, I would expect a few of the following possibilities: 1. Bag End, Bilbo's humble home. 2. Troll Camp, a major action moment in the preview, the book and an opportunity for a few of the 13 Dwarves. 3. Spider Sting, another major action moment where Bilbo really sticks it to...

Re: Cuusoo project- Black Falcons Fortress
It is going to be confusing if you Call it Black Falcons Fortress. That would be like if I were writing a book and calling it The Lord of the Rings. I think the most important thing to do is have a unique identity and design philosophy.
