Re: CCCIX: Gathering of the Clouds
Wow, that is one awesome trebuchet (best pronounced "Treb-Buch-Et" for comedic effect). Very authentic and great build all round, well played. You have done a great job with the terrain too.

Re: CCC IX: Maison de la Motte (wooden castle)
Very charming. As metioned before the slopes used for terrain and the wooden roofs are quite effective. 3 Compute necessary amounts of crucial parts (as: green slopes) and order them in time. Yeah good luck with this one. Certainly it's a great idea to build within the scope of your collection, but ...

Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego
Hey guys...ring elements do exist...in clickits. You know, I had this same thought ... two seconds after I hit the submit button on my post. Th most accurate, realistic ring you can possibly do with LEGO is a thin slice of yellow flex tubing. I used it on 3 separate occasions but it was so small th...

Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego
Firstly, wow! Lord of the Rings theme! My second thought (after wetting myself a little) is I will never beleive anything LEGO says again. Thirdly, yes fleshies, had to spoil it didn't you, LEGO. Fourth, Wow! a Lord of the Rings theme! And lastly the issue of the ring. I can't imagine there NOT bein...

The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated
Hail to thee, Classic Castle, My name is Aaron and I used to be a regular in these parts. I've returned from a dim-age and am building castle again. Of course, I never stopped buying sets and tinkering, but I have some extra time on my hands these days, and have caught the building bug all over agai...

Japanese Tea House
Hi all =) Been away too long again. Life just seems to get more and more complicated recently... But I always have time for the brick. Allow me to share with you my latest creation, a diorama depicting a classic ninja showdown at a Japanese Tea House. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4001/4682351028_d...

Re: The Mystery Castle
Incredibly amusing. I really wish I had power function elements to build my own remote control castle. Then we could have castle battles!

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 7
Awesome, it's that time of year again. It gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling doesn't it? Smell that? hmmmm... fresh ABS right out of the box, the stink of competition, and the sound of a thousand keys clacking as fans think of new and inventive ways to challenge the guidelines - nothing beats that smel...

Excellent representation. Cadilacs, being so huge, would be very difficult to scale to a fig and I think you have done a great job here.
