Re: Pitchforks for Minifigures
Honestly, I'm quite surprised that after all these years, Brickforge hasn't done a more simple pitchfork. They could easily do a two pronged pitchfork. It's possible that they will soon. Brickforge has really grown to the point where new products (not always new pieces, but new colors for pieces an...

Both of these are really nice! By far, the mill mine is my favorite. Some nice part usage there, like the mongol hat as a nest.

Re: Why be upset at the mass production of rare parts?
I can understand all sides of this well enough. I'll probably never get the vintage figs (I already have too little money for the newer sets), though I can see how rare pieces becoming slightly rare can be good for people. For me, the awesomeness of an MOC doesn't come from the fact that it includes...

Re: Crown Training Pell
I completely agree, but I think the barrel would be more in line with Lego practice in making impulse sets than the weapon rack. True, though they might use a weapon rack based on the current piece count, which is pretty accurate. I think the soldier's armory, from the pirates theme, had around 18 ...

Re: Crown Training Pell
I'd say that the armor rack really adds to the set. Barrels seem kinda lazy to me.Username wrote:Thanks for the comments everyone. To lower the piece count, I could replace the armor/weapon rack with a barrel or small crate to put weapons in and the soldier could just wear the armor.

It does look like an actual set. I would buy it.

Re: Non-Released Helmet Available
Meh, I'd rather go with a BF great helm, or the official one when it is released.
Also, at $1.5K which could be used to pay bills, or buy 40,000 more lego pieces, that isn't desirable to me at all.

Re: Tolkien's Writings
I chose the Silmarillion. Though it's not good plot wise (you probably couldn't make a movie out of it, it just wouldn't be exciting), it really shows you just how much Tolkien built up his world; and that it is an entire world in itself. With most fantasy books, a world is created, but all we reall...

Re: New Kingdom set 7955
For me, I'm really happy we're getting a black beard instead of the white one because I've got a bunch of those. Every builder though has different inventories and Lego couldn't have several variations of the set with different color beards...maybe they should make a beard pack to suit all? :D Mayb...
