Re: 'Retro Style' Castle MOCs.

Continuing my 're-obsession' with all things pre-2000 castle, that the current lack of castle has drawn me back to (if that makes any sense). The Black Wolf Inn (aka Wolfpack Tavern) where the Wolfpack meet in secret (?) to plot and count their loot. Where a hog is always roasting and there's a secr...

Re: March: Buildings for your Village Contest

Sorry for missing the deadline, but finally finished this 'build' that I'd been working on then tried to finish for the contest... 'Retro Style' Castle MOCs.

I've been enjoying Bricklink's Stud.io digital desginer program recently, due to limited brickbuilding time, and the wider variety of options it offers beyond my personal collection lego collection. I've been mainly sticking to 'classic style' builds as this my current lego interest. First up a digi...

Re: March: Buildings for your Village Contest

Is digital OK as long as it real/production parts? I've been trying out stud.io a lot recently but don't have much time to brick build.

Re: CCC Update

Remembered it was November 1st so checked the front page and was slightly confused by the Master Builder announcement. Then realised that was last years!

Looking forward to seeing who comes out of the woodwork for this, feels like 2019 has been a quiet one for the castle communuity.

Re: 2016 Holiday Exchange: The Royal Court

I didn't participate this year, partly because of busyness and partly because of the format. Though I thought the theme was a great idea, I generally like to see what parts I can spare, then build a cool fig around those. Being told what specific fig to build may have resulted in me having to send s...

As people have already said, some great looking categories there. Really looking forward to seeing what people come up with, and may even have to enter a couple myself!

I've built something, just need to photograph it. I take it there's no minimum size? I tend to work best on 8x8-16x16.

I didn't know the dragon was missing a leg at first. I looked thru the whole box looking for the other leg lol. If andhe were nearby I probably would have dropkicked him. I was searching through the box for the other pieces for several minutes, as well. It wasn't until I decided to look at his orig...

I should have the box out between Friday/Saturday. Sorry again for the delay, my 4 month old went to the ER over the weekend and I haven't had much time to take pics and go to the post office. Re: End of Summer Jambalaya 2015 - 09.14.15 Start Date

2 weeks! I'm surprised it took that long, but guess there's added traffic over the thanksgiving weekend and run up to Christmas. Glad it's on it's way again.
