Re: Online Parts Draft - SIGN UP IS FULL

The profile bricks and 1x4 brown tiles were the most painful for me.

Re: Online Parts Draft - SIGN UP IS FULL

Hey, am I going crazy, or are we missing the Dark Bluish Gray Hinge Plate 1 x 2 Locking with 2 Fingers on End? I printed out my own copy of the parts list and was lining up the numbers before my pick. And then saw a skip in between the Dark Bluish Gray Brick, Round 1 x 1 Open Stud and the Dark Bluis...

Wow. Really beautiful from the different color choice on the buildings, the stone work, or just all the details. Really nice MOC.

Great job to everyone involved. Seeing different building styles combined was pretty cool.

Re: Dear Lego: Vikings 2.0

Do you really want a Vikings line ruined by being a license? They have less parts. They are more expensive. Sometimes the builds are...meh. Don't we have enough licenses right now? Yes and no (That's why it was a joke. Like SSchmidt commented on, I don't really expect 10 year olds to watch it ...

Re: do you remember when...

I got a couple of the Bionicle Matoran back from McDonalds from around 2000 I wanna say. I think the most recent Lego ones they had were Lego Batman, but not one of them were system compatible. Just hunks of plastic.

You do know that fleshies are for licenses, yes?
That's it. I think we're onto something. :tasty:

Re: LEGO world for boys and girls

I think LEGO gets hit with the "y u no gender-neutral?" more often than other toy companies because a) the bricks have proven brain-building capabilities, and b) they used to be marketed gender-neutral and only started being considered a "boys' toy" in the 90s. Yeah, I think the...

What a gorgeous MOC! I really like the rock work and forestry as well as the simple fact that dwarves have Monkey emblems. That's just awesome. :D

Re: LEGO world for boys and girls

Do yourself a favor and don't read the comments  I should have listened to you first. They are atrocious. I think the writer makes a lot of good, valid points. Should LEGO cater to more young builders? Yes. Should they include more females in different lines? Yes. If LEGO recognizes the want f...

Re: Dear Lego: Vikings 2.0

I second this. While I found it nice that Kingdoms was going back to its more historical roots (I'm using that term loosely) and somewhat like an homage to classic castle sets, I'm very disappointed that our current Castle line is now the most bland retread of about every single Castle line. I'm so ...
