Re: Lighting Tips **Please Help**

I do almost all of my photography outside, and it comes out pretty well. I did my earliest MOCs outside, but I feel like there are a couple problems: 1. Lighting can be overly bright. Not enough white balance. 2. Lighting can change on a whim...or a cloud. 3. Really harsh contrasts. Here's an examp...

Re: Manaor Castle

Really sleek castle wall textures paired with functionality and play features! Nice! Very well done here. ~FB~ Thanks FB, I really enjoy adding play features to my builds :) Yeah, I feel like most builders (including myself) tend to only do the outside of something or keep the functionality to a mi...

Re: LEGO Architecture event this weekend

Reminds me of Modulex. The whole "aimed at serious architects" thing. Are there that many out there? :? White is by far the most abundant color in my collection, and while the set contains some interesting things, it's not enough to drop that much money on, imo. My brother works at a B&...

Re: LCC - Loreos - The Desert Rose

The castle's wall, the cacti, the coloring (a lot of C's, huh?) are all really beautiful and make a neat MOC. Keep up the great work.

Re: Mixels

Well...the designs...are...weird, but that yellow bush is awesome. I'm assuming that from the character design and the name imply that you will be able to mix the different characters? Just from the first three, we can see we could "mix" the arms and maybe the legs if we wanted too. ...

Re: Lake Town Chase, Azog fig

I don't see why this is a $50 set. There have been other LOTR sets with poor price/piece ratios but they had a cave troll, horses, or wargs. I see two new molds, some new printing and that boat. Please tell me the $10 isn't for that boat... Yeah, Str0ngbad, I think you hit it right on the head. We'...

I think that would be great especially if they had a Chinese dragon. And maybe if the headgear was made in which we could connect multiples together to make a chain. I think that would be pretty sweet.

 That sounds like a pretty good deal. From the picture, it looks like it turned out really nice. Great work. I'd be really interested if you got them printed.

Re: Essential LEGO Sets

That really depends. Are you looking to just collect the sets to keep as they're built? Or are you planning on using them as parts? If so, what do you plan on building? It would cost you quite a pretty penny, but for me I would want the 375 Castle just for collection purposes. http://www.brickset.co...

That castle wall is superb! I really like how it looks. Nice bordering, by the way, with the rounded look. Overall, nice MOC. You captured the look of a battle pretty well.

Keep it up,
