Vignette A Week 03

Hi, everyone. So, I need to post this really, really quick before I go study for exams. Hopefully you can infer the story continuation from what's happening. :) Breach Successful.

See you next week!

Re: A Vignette A Week 02

Cool, but are these just random MOCs or a they a story, or both? It seems to me that these vigs make a story, and will continue to. I like the idea, Voran, and the vigs themselves are neat. I prefer this second one over the first. Yes, I'll be making vigs on an ongoing story for a while. Well, at l...

A Vignette A Week 02

The second Vignette A Week . Two days late online, but it was built by the deadline, so it still counts. =) So, after some contemplation, I decided to give the characters in my vig something of a backstory after all, which I will reveal in future vigs. "The strongest chain may be broken if a si...

Re: A Vignette A Week 01

Thanks for the comments and encouragement, everyone! As to any sort of backstory, there really isn't one. I'll just say that the three in the tent are chiefs of three different factions (those are left to your imagination), and that it is a troll gal in the green ninja cowl. (And if you're from the ...

A Vignette A Week 01

Hello, everyone. This is the first of my "Vignette A Week" Vignettes. Vignette A Week is a personal challenge to myself to build at least one vignette a week. The reasons why: 1. I lack the time/management to build much. I lack the brick to build big. 2. I have not paid much attention to t...

Fascinating. Those custom-made sets look very appealing. Heck, I'd probably buy a couple if they were real.

Re: Weekly Set Review: Knight's Procession

Is it just me, or is the helmet of the knight on the far left bley? What do you think? ;) I think somebody had better give their opinion before my eyes pop out of my head from staring at this picture trying to decide if the helmet is light bley! :o Truth is, it is impossible for a set this old to c...

Re: Throne Room

Considering your claimed lack of tiles, you pulled this build off with skill. You have a lot of great details. The weapons hanging on the walls, the tapestries, the statues, the thrones, the large bird of prey (be it eagle or other), and the variety of figs hanging around. The floor is colorful, yet...

Re: My MOC the Admins entries

:roflol: Oh, I laughed loud at these, AC. Especially Sava's and Josh's. :) Well done, sir! Well done! Impressions: For the first, I have to agree with Maedhros. The walls are spectacular. For the second, you have achieved an excellent color balance. The tan and grey offset the white so it's not swal...

Re: 32x32 Challenge: Sansalias

This is an excellent build, Richard. The mottling in the walls and the roof is beautiful, and the bit of landscaping you did around the walls really makes it stand out. If I had built this, I probably would have built the walls all the way to the edge to make the courtyard as big as possible. You di...

Haha! You pulled this off brilliantly, QB! All three figs are posed perfectly, and the blue and red flags are a very nice touch. Very nice build. Build on!

Re: Fig: MOC or just a fig?

I suppose it depends on the way you think of the acronym 'MOC'. If you apply the words 'My Own Creation' literally, you will find that any two bricks (heck, any two plates ) stacked on top of each other can rightfully be called a MOC. I prefer to follow the spirit of the law rather than the letter. ...
