Can you?
While I won't be there, so you can disregard this if you want. But AC is a cat, and if he sings anywhere near the same caliber as my cat tried, I don't think you want him too. Of course maybe alien cats are different, who really knows?

Re: Classic Castle mascot?

Moreover the Classic-Castle mascot should be more of an observer/visitor to the vigs we create. If it is a battle scene the mascot should be just that, a mascot for his chosen side. In more sedate themes he could be seen as a visitor, with more interaction. I'm thinking more of a Where's Waldo type...

Re: uneven base

some of my "bricks" are actually 3 plates on top of each other, would that effect the height? Only if 1 or more of the plates is not of the right thickness. That's what I was looking at. It seemed a few of them might not be a true 1/3 brick thick. In my previous post I meant "thick&q...

Re: uneven base

I would double check all the plates you are using. I can't easily tell, but it looks like a few might be 2x deep, especially the green ones in the top left corner of the pick you posted. It also looks like you might have some off brand grey plates in there too, b/c they don't seem to be exactly the ...

Whitefag's review had the breakdown for the box he got. And when I get home & open all of mine, I'll do the same. So far though I've gotten mainly Graduates & Animal Trainer Girls.

Re: Collectable Series 5 - review - now in stores (UK)

I just picked up a box of these from a TRU in the States. And where I'm at is not a place known for getting stuff like this early. So you might start looking at your local TRUs to see if they are putting them out early.

Re: Collectable Series 5 - review - now in stores (UK)

Because the last series was shortly available at TRU, I figured I checked their website to see if I needed to make a visit this week. It seems they will be available there in the US on 8/16. Series 5 Minifigs

Considering the fact that this forum is using phpBB, I'd be surprised if the phpBB crew haven't already made a mobile app for it. But at the same time, I've been hunting around my usual haunts for April Fools Jokes(ThinkGeek & /. are the best).

Re: "Unbending" baseplates?

All you need to do is run hot tap water over the opposite side of the bend. This will cause the baseplate to flatten. Huh! I've never tried that before. That's the concave side of the bend or the convex side? DaveE It would be the convex sides, since that's the side that's bent "outward".

I just wonder if he'd ever go to Brickworld since it's held in his home city of Chicago. Maybe he'd add a "presidential" MOC of his own.

Wow those are some fairly detailed figures. A bit on the pricey side but good detail. One other minor problem Lancelot was a Knight of King Arthur so he should be wearing the same coat of arms as Arthur but oh well he does have a good looking coat of arms though. Well not only that, but he has Lanc...

Re: Brick link

If you are trying to get buy a large amount of different lots(each brick type is considered a lot) then the best thing to do is put together a "wanted list". Then Bricklink has a cool search by "wanted list" feature, and you can have it sort the stores by who has the most unique ...
