Re: LEGO, please DO NOT make battery-operated Castle Minifig
I've been out of the Lego loop for a while... What's this about battery operated figures? Minifigs that one cannot customise, change, or otherwise take apart? I always thought that was one of the major strengths of Lego, the fact that you could do whatever you wanted with it. Wow, u have been out o...

I partly agree with El mariachi, but i think there is also the franchising of copyrights to consider it. TLG seems to be thinking about what will make them the most money, not what will make the builders of castle or space interested. I mean look, they replaced castle with HP, and that was when they...

Are batteries all that bad?
I do say that batteries are not classic legos, but are they all bad? I mean having a yelling minifig would really help with lego movies. And the lightup wand would help with lightup effects. Overall, the best idea i can think of is a light up ghost  The worst is a light up jelly bean sword ...

Is it just me, or is lego getting worse as the years go by?
I am only 13, but i have been looking at previous sets versus the new ones, and i have to say that lego has gotten horrible. I mean take a look at the KK2 joust. Two knights bouncing carts off of each other?!? What happened to the old lego with swords and dragons and good castles that weren't just a...
