Re: Fully Illustrated Rein of Stallworth Lagrest!!

LOVE to see illustrated stories! :-) Changes the whole story for me :-) Pretty well done - the pics were very high quality. I agree that the filter got a bit old after awhile, but I understand what you were going for. I did notice an error here "Needless to say Stallworth did not heed their war...

I love the history from that era, so yes! :-) It's so dynamic and pretty tumultuous... the perfect ground for good fantasy :-)

Re: Gondorian Helmet

How in the world does someone make these things!? Well, either way, they're amazing. I didn't notice until I saw the earlier posts, but yes, the eye areas would be better if lessed flared out. Very well done. I'd love to see some black ones too, if you ever made some outside of the LOTR theme. :-)

The tree, the bridge, the water... I love them!

It's full of detail but still "feels" like it's full of action... not static.. awesome! :-)

Re: Battle of the Castle Sets: 6073 vs 6074

This isn't much of a competition. KC always came off to me as a cheaper, simplified keep for those not willing to pay for the big one, while BFF is a reall well designed, aesthetically cohesive structure. I never thought of it this way... While I'm tempted to disagree, I think I am forced to somewh...

Very well put! I've always felt this about the forestmen, they have a lot of character to work with in their sets! :)

Re: Fight in the Arena

Awesome wolf... that thing has some character! Love the ears, claws, and mouth the most.

And quite movable too... well done with the joints!

I'd love to see 2 of those things face off in a battle! :-)

I love all things wolfpack... but the forestmen fortress? Nothing beats that! :-)

Looks very "Game of Thrones goes Lego", which is cool! :-)

Nice website, and I love a story that takes the time to build up a history and culture!

Looking forward! :-)

Re: Vampire's Castle by Castor Troy

Goodness... I got lost in this... it truly deserves more pictures... amazing! From the tools to cut up figs to the shapes and contours of the castle... just VERY VERY well thought out. I'm impressed.

The fact that the vehicles are steam-powered... well... that's just the icing on top! :-P

Re: Where did all the stories go?

I like the analyses in this topic so far, something I would like to add, and something I think is very important, is that now that all the old stories are gone, they aren't there anymore to inspire others to do the same. We should bring the old stories back, preserve them somehow and make them acce...

Re: Survery Results

Interesting. I would like to see more publicity for AFOL events - especially to get rid of some of the stigma that exists here in the west.

It's nice to see them communicating with us.

I'm skeptical that they will actually improve quality more. Prices for labor and materials being what they are~

Re: How do you clean your Lego?

I've heard of people putting them in a pillow case (or two) and putting that in the washing machine. I always figured I would do that if I had to clean bricks~
