I don't like the way snot water looks. I don't like the way really smooth rocks look either. It's because it doesn't look natural. I just leave them studd'd. Why? I can switch up the scene and add things to the MOC after the fact. Plus, with some trans 1x1 round plates you can make ripples and such....

I was waiting for this announcement! That is so exciting! I'm glad that your not only serving, but you told us! I hope that you see the change in yourself in your two year mission. If you run into Tony, send him our love... (haha), and be sure to serve as you know to serve. This is really exciting! ...

I don't know why everyone else is saying "ok," or "big gray wall syndrome." Castle's didn't have windows until the second or third floor because of the risk of soldiers climbing through them into the castle. Second off, if we were to be historically accurate, castles were never g...

This has been posted before, especially when it was under siege. I do believe he is a member here... somewhere. This castle is relatively old, two or even three years old.

Perhaps I'll use one of your fine trees as a reference next time. I guess I struck a sour spot? You know, that was my first MOC and find it odd that you wouldn't be willing to accept some constructive criticism. Almost everybody else is going: This...is...AWESOME!   :sh...

You're good a buildings, I'll give you that  But the thing that isn't going for me is the landscaping. The trees look good from a distance, but closer up they leaf (bad pun) much to be desired. So great building, but perhaps improve on the land around it...? I have the opposite problem. I can ...

I have the secret where I only use 7 leaf pieces for trees-- 3 large and 4 leaf. I don't have a close up, but the effect is obvious:

Looking pretty good. The thing I really think could be improved is the low window wall pieces. I think those are so low--maybe it should be higher up.

Trading For some Gray Bricks

Ok, so I need bley or old gray tiles 1x?. I also need these: http://www.bricklink.com/PL/6541.jpg http://www.bricklink.com/PL/3069b.jpg I also need 1x2 plates, same color. I need this ratio: For every 4 1x1 pin holder I need 4 1x2 plates and 5 1x2 tiles. Actually, I need 4 of these as well for every...

Long long time...

Well, this year in school has been deadly. I've been super busy and haven't been able to touch any Lego in perhaps a month. My main project is on a plateau; I need certain bricks but I don't have the funds to buy them, and I can't really make another bricklink order. I feel bad because I have seemed...

Very nice job. I see that you've fallen into the obsession with plates  I only have one small complaint about the whole creation--the walls seem to be hollow. There should be some junk in there or something, because walls most certainly are not made that way. Other then that, nice job! I didn't...

Not to put in a shameless plug, but this creation of mine, with full landscaping, was only about 2000 or 3000 (?) pieces. The ground doesn't take much; it's basically those large bricks (like 16x8) with a little bit of plates and stuff over the top. Click Here As you can see, it is not all one color...
