Re: Viking kings
Thanks Bruce, and wobnam, where's your information from? where's your evidence? In most cases the the Leaders you are refering to appear as the so called 'Governers' that I refer to. I admit that the Scandanavian countries had Kings from the tenth century onwards, some leaders like Cnut were the kin...

Re: Magna Carta MOC
Thanks for the comment, it's quite strange that there are copies all over the world; there is a copy of it in the German archives as well.
Strange how something first written in England ends up all over the world nearly 800 years later.

Re: Medieval timeline
The Norsemen had no kings until later on in the Dark age, they had Governers of areas that would meet to discuss business of the times.
The Vikings wern't a nation anyway.

Re: Medieval timeline
Quaraga, your textbook must be wrong because the Vikings did'nt have kings until later on in the Dark age, sure they had leaders of villages and clans (groups), but the Vikings built up a wonderful system of democracy.

Re: Tolkien's Writings
I enjoy all the books yet I chose 'The Fellowship Of The Ring', it appeals most to me as it starts the ball rolling for the Lord of the Rings story.

Re: Lego Kingdoms at 2010 Toy Fair
Goodness gracious me, The Castle is fantastic as well as the figs.
I think the sets might come out in August because on the little card in the background of the grey tower, you can just make out the word August.
The shield design reminds me of the royal knights.

Re: What were your first Castle sets
I think my first castle set was 6082 Fire Breathing Fortress ( http://www.1000steine.com/brickset/images/6082-1.jpg ) for the Dragon Masters. It was released in 1993. And I must say I really like it especially because it has Majisto in it :) . I quite like it and it is still complete with instructio...

Looking for 5614 The Good Wizard
Does anyone have a good Wizard set up for sale or trade.
I am looking for one that comes complete with box and instructions if not then just the fig.
