Trouble Reading Dates

I just might be an idiot or this might have already been discussed, but I don't understand what this, Juno6, Ju6, 25, means. I never understood the dates here and it is sometimes good to know when things were posted and stuff like that, so if anybody could tell me how to read the dates, here on the forum, I would really appreciate it. :D

Thanks

Hi,

Can you be a bit more specific about where you are seeing this? I don't see that kind of format when I'm viewing. What I see is like this:
"Mon Jun 15, 2009 10:07 am"

Hey,

If you go to "User control panel" (it's in the upper left corner of the forum page, right below "board index"), then go to "Board Preferences", and scroll down to "My Date Format", you can change how dates appear. You're probably looking at a format that is more commonly used in other nations. For instance, in the US we usually write the date as June 15, but most Europeans would write 15 June.

Thank you very much! :D That problem is solved, but now I put in Eastern Standard Time for my time zone (I live in Ohio) and it is telling me it is 12:35, but it is actually 1:35. Are the times messed up for anyone else?

Right below where you chose the time zone on your control panel, click "yes" on "Summer Time/DST is in effect" to get Daylight Savings Time.
