Icon Key

Is there a key somewhere on the site for forum icons? I haven't been able to find one if there is, nor could I find a thread that discussed this before. Specifically I'm wondering why sometimes topics that have new activity will have a red shield icon, and sometimes they have a yellow icon.

As far as I can remember (from the old key that used to be at the bottom of every forum), the regular tricolor shield just indicates new posts, but the yellow one is for a hot topic; i.e. a topic that has had a large amount of posts in a short amount of time. Or something like that.

Almost right ;) but it's a bit simpler: a hot topic is a topic with more than one page.

Hmm not anymore....
That seems a bit sporadic, take in this very forum (Administrative) the Weird Chatters thread, that is a hot topic, and it got its posts over a span of a year and a half. Not really a short time I'd say.

Yeah, I didn't really state that clearly.

What I meant was more like:
I think it's for a topic that got, say, a page of replies in one day, at any point in time. Once a hot topic, always a hot topic. That sort of thing.
