Upcoming Contests?

Ok, I'm new and I really don't really know where to put this so I'm so I apologize if it is off-topic or in the wrong forum but I want to know what the closest upcoming contest is and when I will take place. I don't really know if the contests always take place at the same time of year and what they all are.

Contest at Classic Castle can be both at a specific time of year and not. Here is a link to information about past contests.

As far as being alerted to them in advance, well advance notice is only offered when and if the people sponsoring the contest give that information. Most often advance notice is not given. In addition, most contests that are run from year to year do not have the same categories or even the same building content.

So the answer to your question is to be patient and wait for an announcement to happen.

I meant to respond to this earlier, but I was pretty much going to say exactly what Blue said. Just to expand on one point - our major annual contest is the Colossal Castle Contest, which is always announced on about November 1, with entries due by midnight of December 31. It has multiple categories (generally around 10) that vary from year to year. Other than that, contests are not scheduled regularly. Then tend to average out to every 2 or 3 months.
