Hi,

I recently wrote a somewhat silly castle history article in the "Castle LEGO Sets" forum called "LEGO Castle is Dead" which covers 1993 - 2004. If there was interest in a more detailed article of that nature with pictures, I could probably put something together. Unfortunately, many people took my article too seriously, so I don't know if it would be wise to write another article in that vein.

It was taken seriously because it was written seriously. If you made it much plainer that it was a humourous work, I doubt if you'd have the same problem.

Can we please stop with the thread-jacking? This is getting a bit more common and it needs to stop. Not only is this rude, it also makes it difficult for honest people to conduct a discussion.

My first reply was a direct response to the thread. I should not have replied a second time, but the temptation was too great.

I understand. Perhaps rather than replying, you could send the guy a PM? That way you can figure out the situation without going off topic for a thread. Either that, or you can start a new thread, quoting the questionable comment and then add your rebuttle.
