Login Twice

Hey, i've had some troubles logging in.

Some of you have seen where i would post as guest after logging in.

I usually have to login twice to actually login. No typos....i carefully type it in first everytime....the second time let's me in...odd


It's no big deal...any suggestions?

I was wondering if I was the only having this problem...

I find that with all the more recent links to the forum from the main page (that is, links from the past month or two), I have to log in twice.

Hence, I have taken to entering by a devious route through the older archives, in order to log in once.

Not that logging in twice is a problem as such, but logging in twice means that the shields don't go colourful on the topics and forums I haven't read, and that IS a problem.

I've had the same problem. I usually click the 'keep me logged in' button to solve it though. Even then, it takes 2 or three visits (2 log ins per visit) for it to take effect. I have to do it all over again every time I clear my cookies and temporary files.

I used to have this problem too, but now I just use the "Log me in at every visit"-box and most of the time it works just fine.

I was having the same problem. Now I go into a forum and reply to a post before I login and it asks me to login and that works.

This is a common problem we have with our forums. I do not believe that Troy has figured out why it happens. I usually just have my password saved so I am logged in whenever I come to the forums. Hopefully we can fix this problem with the cookies sometime soon.
